Route 58 Business over CSX and Route 632

Isle of Wight County, VA

This project replaced an existing 5-span bridge over a small road and active CSX railroad tracks with a new 2-span structure. Due to clearance requirements over the railroad, an almost 20’ tall abutment was required on one end of the job, and an almost 40’ tall MSE Wall was utilized on the other end. The bridge structure had a complex geometry, including variable skew angles and superelevations. Bryant’s experience and meticulous attention to detail led to a high quality final project that was completed ahead of schedule. Final completion was achieved in September 2017
